Story with tiny subject: event

3 days Publication

I worked as a photographer on the early of May for an event. This event is corresponding to the Mother's day celebration. The company would like to greet whole Malaysian mothers for this memorable day. As a appreciation for the support of the user, the company published picture of the mother and their son/daughter in The STAR newspaper. This Mother's day event was running 15 stations in whole Malaysia and Mydin MITC Melaka was one of it. Thanks Ben Ming intro this work to me.

I didn't see any pictures that i snap in the 1st and 2nd day publication. But at last, on the 3rd day, 9th May 2009, I found out that 7 pictures snap in Mydin were published in the newspaper. Actually it was just around 10% of the total number of photos that i capture in Mydin, but I quite feel glad that it was my first time that my photos selected to be published in the media.

Symphonious Odyssey 绚音翔旅

Committees were busy before the event start

On 18th April, I attended Symphonious Odyssey, 绚音翔旅, a chinese orchestra organized by Chinese Orchestra Society. Thanks to Khai Mun for the invitation. Sorry for the late sharing because was busy with the final year report last few weeks. Chill =)

Basically, i quite impressed with this event because although they are studying in university, but their enthusiasm upon the Chinese culture and instrumental is highly appreciated. Besides, this type of orchestra is hardly to be found in local. It's proud that it can be organized successfully in MMU.

On that night, I saw the support of this event by the outsiders attendance . This type of cultural event should be encouraged so that I can be continued to the next generation. In order to show my support to this type of cultural event, I had uploaded quite a number of pictures of this event to expose these traditional instruments.

Overall, the event run smoothly whole night. They indeed performed well. But in the future, I think organizer should made the event more perfect with nicer decoration and serving. ok, let's check it out the photos on that night. Hope u all enjoy it! =)
